DEADLINE
Well, each judge had to choose 8 semi-finalists from each category (there was drawing category and painting/coloring category). Here in the journal I posted top 10 drawings/paintings which got most votes, from each category (paintings in journal are not in order from many to less votes...it's random).

THEME
'Slice of Life in Winter'.
Draw moments in the =ElephantWendigo's Original Characters lives that take place in wintry settings (fireplaces, cold, icy, snow, Christmas, mountains, warm clothes, leafless trees, etc.). These moments don't have to be 'routine actions' of a character's life but rather moments where =ElephantWendigo's characters are protagonists.
THEME RULES and SUBMISSION RULES
- Only =ElephantWendigo's original characters are allowed (NO other OCs or fanarts).
- You can find the list of the characters here -> [link]
- Characters must be recognizable. It's not allowed to draw them into animal or furry form or change their gender though.
- You can mix the character in a single picture in every way you want, and you can draw how many characters you want in the same picture (Sample: characters from 'CyberSteel' story can be drawn with OCs from 'The last Heir of Versewil III'). That means Crossovers are allowed.
- You can add animals into your picture and also not recognizable characters as part of the background (crowd etc)
- Blood, nudity and violence are accepted as long as they don't infringe the dA rules or be posted with the Strict Mature content filter ON.
- You could make the character facing a situation unusual for him/her.
- You can join with how many entries you want, but only one of them can win.
- All the formats and sizes are accepted.
- It's better to participate with completed works rather than sketches, and to scan traditional art and cropping it instead of taking a picture. No squared or ruled paper!
- Your entry can't infringe dA rules
- You MUST credit all the resources or references you used and provide a link to them
- You CAN'T use Copyrighted resources and materials, or part of someone else's gallery for making your picture, except for textures and resources.
- Don't offend or contest judges votes in any case.
- Judges can't participate in the contest. Contest creators can't participate in the contest.
- Donors can take part in the contest.
- Your work can be added to as many dA groups as you want.
- You CAN'T use part of my gallery or someone else's gallery for creating your work. This is stealing and you may be reported!
ALLOWED MEDIA
- Traditional and Digital art, Mixed media, Drawings and Illustrations, Animations and Gifs, Vectors and Vexels, Cartoon and comics, Manga and Anime, Realism and Semi-realism, Sculptures and Artisan crafts, Oekaki and Pixel Art, Muro drawings.
- Written captions or subtitles are also allowed
- Your work can be in Black and White or in Colors
NOT ALLOWED MEDIA
- Abstract and Fractal (unless just in small part of the picture), Photography, Photomanipulation, Cosplay, Paper Dolls.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
- Your entry must be a NEW deviation made exclusively for this contest, but you can use preexisting stock and resources.
- In your deviation comment you MUST mention this contest and you must add the link to this Journal.
- It happened many times that you forgot to add the link to our contest in your Deviation comment, please remember to add it before submitting your entry.
- Send a NOTE to =ElephantWendigo with the object "CONTEST ENTRY", providing the THUMBNAIL or the LINK to your entry. Messages will not be accepted.
- When your entry will be accepted, it will be added to =ElephantWendigo's Collection named "My OCs by others" -> [link]

I'm sorry you didn't get as many as you wanted, but I do think what you got really is lovely. I hope at least seeing so much beautiful fanart of your characters has given you some happiness.
