I was confused becuz I don't see anything wrong with this one at all. But I get it now

Anyways either way is okay by me, but if that funny kid really is NOT the real you then it is kinda not necessary to have it as an icon. But then again what difference does it make if it makes you happy and amused.
But that other kid's image reminds me a little of that goofy kid named Fred Figglehorn

both are fine by me, although you likely will get more attention (pageviews, watches) from your old one just because it shows off a little bit of your style and people are more likely to click on your name or icon while reading one of your comments.

of course that might not matter at all to you in which case, either or
